Danity Kane's DAWN Richard On Chris Brown And Rihanna: 'It's Their Business'Singer says she hasn't spoken with either artist but she's 'praying for them.'
DAWN Richard has been living her life in the public eye since she made her reality-TV debut on "Making the Band" as one of the five ladies of Danity Kane. After the group's very public split over the last few months, Richard knows what it's like to be in the media spotlight.
While she said she hasn't spoken to either Chris Brown or Rihanna since their alleged altercation before the Grammy Awards — "I've seen them a couple times before all this stuff, but I don't know them like that," she said — she is "praying for both of them.
"I think they're both great artists," she said. "It's a shame and I think it's their business and it sucks that it has to be out there. [The media attention is] like a microscope — everybody's in your stuff. It's their business and whatever they choose to do with it, I wish them luck. It's not my business."
Ne-Yo, who said he's spoken with Rihanna, and Bow Wow recently spoke with MTV News about the situation.
Even with all of Richard's experience of being scrutinized by the public, she says she can't offer Brown and Rihanna much advice.
"I can't give them anything 'cause I went through my thing and it went all wrong," she said. "You just pray. I do wish them luck. I wish that everybody would back off and let them deal with it the way they deal with it. I can't give advice. I can say positivity is the best thing you can do right now. Just stay positive and just surround yourself with people who are positive."

hey yall...this week has been a whirlwind! as some may know one of my songs, "on my side", is floating around on the net. Nothing i can do about that now, lets just keep it between all x-amount of you all and me, lol. i am happy you are diggin this new movement, you're staying open minded to what i have to offer despite what the 'machine' is wanting to feed you. i appreciate the support you guys have given me through the struggles i faced throughout the past 2 1/2 years and especially at this new transition, cuz it's just me now...man against the machine.

Danity Kane's Former Member D. Woods Has New SongD. Woods' new song 'On My Side' from her forthcoming mixtape series 'Independence Day' has come out.
A new track called "On My Side" from the former member of Danity Kane, D. Woods, has just arrived. Containing mid-tempo sounds, it is reportedly recorded for her upcoming mixtape series titled "Independence Day".
D. Woods was kicked out of Danity Kane by the group's founder P. Diddy during season-three finale of "Making the Band 4" back in October 2008. She was removed from the band because Diddy felt she had gotten "caught up in the wrath" of AUBREY O'Day, who was also fired during the airing of the show.
Beside working on her own record, D. Woods planned to make music with The Girls Club, the musical act that she formed with her sisters Shanell and Means. She also worked on another project, about which she said, "I'm also working on submissions of placements for other artists. I really can't tell you who until it's final."
